Καλύτερη σειρά του 2011 το Βreaking Bad σύμφωνα με το Canada.com !!!

Άλλη μία διάκριση για το Βreaking Bad καθώς αναδείχθηκε καλύτερη σειρά του 2011 από το Canada.com πέρνωντας την 1η θέση ανάμεσα σε 10 σειρές. Αξίζει πάντως να διαβάσετε το άρθρο του Canada.com για την σειρά, πραγματικά την εκθειάζει :

Where The Killing’s season finale left viewers feeling frustrated and Friday Night Lights ended on an elegiac note, Breaking Bad ended with one of those say-what?! moments unique to TV. Breaking Bad’s best season — and that’s saying a lot — was a slow-building, season-long pressure cooker, thanks to Bryan Cranston’s Walt White going off the rails while battling both his protege, Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman, and Giancarlo Esposito’s memorable villain, Gustavo “Gus” Fring. Gus, a respected member of the business community of Albuquerque, New Mexico, owner of the eminently respectable Los Pollos Hermanos chicken restaurants — and the biggest meth dealer this side of Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico — met his maker in a most unique and original way. You’ve jumped at some TV sudden surprises, and you’ve laughed at others, but when was the last time you jumped and laughed at the same time?


First in Breaking Bad and more recently seen in Once Upon a Time, Esposito is my pick for TV Man of the Year. It takes a lot to play a scene straight up with Emmy winner Cranston and the great character actor Mark Margolis, and come out of it looking good. Or half good, if you prefer. (Pun intended.)


There were many other fine series worth noting from the past year. I appreciated Treme, too, and Luther, Damages, Boardwalk Empire, Southland, Bored to Death, and Community. Curb Your Enthusiasm had a strong season, and not just that freaky finale with Michael J. Fox. If you don’t know who could possibly pick a fight with Fox, you clearly didn’t see Larry David in action.


There were other high notes, too. Among the fine series of the past year that you didn’t see, keep an eye out in the coming year for Homeland, Boss, American Horror Story, and new seasons of Justified and Sons of Anarchy. Perhaps your local cable company will get its act together — though you probably won’t want to bet the cable bill on it.
